Got Buttons?
I’m very excited to let you know that we will be embarking on a button art project in the house. This project will take place over the next few months and will bring life and color to the guest hall area.
Below are examples of button art and how various button shapes, sizes and colors can come together to offer a unique and beautiful piece. However, we don’t want to do this alone. We want to encourage volunteers, board members, community partners and families to participate. How wonderful to have buttons from all areas of our community. Whether you will be donating buttons in honor of someone or in memory of someone, we will list the names of these individuals within the wall mural to become part of the Ronald McDonald House legacy.
The below indicates our current button needs.
- A large assortment of white buttons for clouds
- A large assortment of colorful buttons for birds and butterflies (think bright and vibrant colors)
- A large assortment of green for trees
- A large assortment of brown for tree stem
- Smaller assortment of red for applies
- Medium assortment of grey and black buttons for animals
Buttons can be brought to Ronald McDonald House at Parkview:
11109 Parkview Plaza Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46845
No button will be rejected, all buttons will be valued.
